Upon your arrival at Sri Lanka’s International Airport, you will receive a warm and gracious welcome from your dedicated chauffeur guide. An air-conditioned vehicle will be at your service to comfortably transport you to the coastal city of Negambo, allowing you to relax and rejuvenate after your long flight. Enjoy the scenic drive, taking in the sights and sounds of this beautiful island nation. Upon reaching Negambo, check in to the Jetwing Sea Hotel or a similar accommodation for a comfortable and restful overnight stay.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we set forth on a visit to Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, known for its well-preserved ruins. The highlight of today will be a visit to the magnificent Anuradhapura ruins. Among the ruins, you’ll see the sacred old Bo Tree, a spiritual reminder of the beginnings of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. If you still have energy, an optional visit to the Ritigala ruins is available upon return to the hotel. However, please note that a 4×4 vehicle is recommended for this excursion. After this enriching exploration, we can head back to the hotel to relax and unwind.
